If I understand correctly, in case of loop better ascent from Matkov kot and descent to Okrešelj?

Not necessarily will the majority agree with it. In certain conditions it's better in the opposite direction. Especially if doing a loop from car to car.

No, the ascent to MG from the Okrešelj direction is now a real mini via ferrata in the initial part. Previously a nice and raw start from the col with a few pegs, now it's like coming into a hardware store.

Just this is still missing in these parts. Kindergarten on the ledges.

I agree Drago! When I saw it, I had to look again to check if it's real, and when I thought the continuation of the path is like that, it hurt! Luckily it wasn't. This chain would be perfect for replacing on paths where the old one is destroyed.

@zokipoki: Three years ago I did the ascent on this beautiful mountain, Okrešelj route. In the first part there were already some chains and pegs back then. But are these new and in a different place? Thanks. What "surprises" me more is the picture without a helmet on the head, knowing the rockfall risk here is high. Well, it's an individual's decision, as everywhere. Otherwise good luck on all paths.

Yes @jvali, it's true! A few meters of chain were there before, in the crumbly traverse right at the start, where the path turns slightly left into the wall and that's still there. New is right at the entry into the wall, all the way to the old one and then further, almost to where the path descends to the other side, that's it. Some new pegs too. Thanks and good luck to you too!

Congratulations Dejan for both ascents! For Raduha and this wild tour! For the latter I'm still gathering courage, so the photos for a better idea are really welcome! Nicely documented! Good luck redbull!

You'd manage it, no worries. Overgrowth is really annoying though. Between II and III. Tower up to that landmark I just didn't think there was quite a nice exposure. But always when going a second time it's harder (at least for me). Last year I was really "focused" on this traverse and didn't stop much in between because of the extra long ridge time-wise.

“You'd make it, no worries.” Dejan, if you haven't been on a tour with him ever, such a statement can be dangerous. This part of the ridge isn't easy for a solo hiker. You yourself admit that this variant past the larch is quite exposed, and you have many harder and more exposed ridges behind you. Otherwise, gathering experience alone is always the hardest. Zokipoki, it's not enough just to gather courage. Try rather some training at some AO. Then you'll always know what you're getting into. The ridge won't go anywhere in the meantime.

True, just like you said. For the first time it's good to gather as much info as possible, at least that's how it was for me.

Thanks a lot for the advice and concern! Dejan's words are also well-intentioned! Thanks to both! I also inquire well about similar tours, and although it has happened that I went beyond myself, I feel like I'm going less and less, but misfortune never rests! Of course I also go blindly and let myself be surprised, but regardless of individual's experience there's still room for mistakes, even when you least think so. Dejan's photos revealed some details I hadn't seen and I have a better idea of the world up there. Best is to go to the terrain and assess yourself if it's within abilities, that's why I prefer to go alone. I won't join AO mainly because I have no desire for it. I go where I can and where I feel capable, every step counts. In a way I've already surpassed myself and the wishes I had when I started going to the mountains, and I'm satisfied with that.
