Today Monika and I were at Perniki and Ravne (Mežakla). Not many mushrooms, seems a bit too high or cold. Next days if warmer, maybe higher up something happens. Seems starting slowly..
No Jurčki, but you find chanterelles, gypsy mushrooms, some pigeons.

Here from the circular path around the largest Carinthian waterfall(Fallbach). They grow like after rain(bad weather)

heinz, something similar happened to me over the weekend. Full basket despite being very picky at the end about what to pick. Left surely another full basket of older and wormy ones. Also surprised how many there are (small and nice) despite it being quite dry. Ljubitelj gora gave a very likely answer. LP

Chestnuts already, mushrooms also grow a bit and not wormy, today picked some nice firm boletuses and some small chestnuts but this year bad for mushrooms if no rain, morning dew, but that collects on grassy areas or where litter is.

They are also offered at the market, so they obviously grow, we just don't all have the same eyes

Today two specimens of porcini, there are probably some small mushrooms left, but a local regularly picks them, but has a nose for locations and walks a lot daily. Novices will come back from there almost empty-handed. Too little rain.

Yesterday after returning from the mountains I detoured a bit into the forest, to check if any mushrooms are growing, the harvest was modest, but some are still growing.
