Hope no one thinks we're competing.  OK. My haul in two days: 66 porcini + X parasols + Y chanterelles + Z doves. In the fridge about 95 porcini accumulated in last three days.

NO not competing just today I had plenty time and went to forest three times for mushrooms-porcini.
In my forest practically NO MUSHROOM PICKERS but some come in briefly but quickly go elsewhere.
But mushroom pickers do lots of damage to undergrowth if no one knows porcini have mycelium network and that's why I got 6-7-8 pieces and even nearly 15 specimens within 5 meters around that's how it is here.

Well, I have ca. 100 chestnut mushrooms and only one real porcini and some chanterelles - that's a pretty good haul and parasols will pop out soon, it'll be heavy

Also near Celje you can find plenty of nice tasty boletuses, just have to get up early enough.

Still allowed to pick 2 kg per person. So if two go picking, they can bring up to 80 specimens from the forest.
My better half and I just picked 60 pcs, and I think we haven't reached the bonus yet- 4 kg.
For next year unfortunately can't leave them, as other forest dwellers eat them..
Well, they say that every season (don't pick everything), but still it seems there are more and more every year.
But I think the most important is the proper picking method.

Inspector......I'll drag him out with a stick and I'd do that, I always carry it with me, but it's metal.
Yesterday I picked almost 10 kg of mushrooms in MY own forest and NO ONE has the right to nag me.
But others should stick to the limits.

And one more thing I'll say. For anyone who owns some forest, it is very important how it is maintained; we maintain ours very well and here is the result: to keep it nice you need lots of time, will and physical fitness; without a cleaned-up forest there will be few mushrooms.
