On the 21st pic only Tolsti vrh, Deska not visible, as it's south of it and impossible to see from where pic taken.

For help, my time Ojstrica-Planjava: 2:14 h (last year on route Log. Dolina-Ojstrica-Škarje-Lučka Baba-Planjava-Kamniško sedlo-Brana-Okrešelj-Log. Dolina, with lots of stops, total 7 h, emšo59).

Has anyone gone up Kopinškova to Ojstrica recently and back over Škarje? Wondering how it is, if still some snow, winter gear needed up top? Thanks! lp

A day or two ago an Englishman returned via Korošica. Planned descent Kopinškova but went back to summit and down other way because no winter gear, didn't want to risk. Lp, Marko

I too was yesterday on Ojstrica and saw rucksacks on path to Škarje and don't know what's irresponsible here? Why carry them to top if returning same path..

What if something happens to you on the path? Really curious what you carry in your backpack? Why have backpacks at all. Think you don't have much mountain experience. No hard feelings

Regarding Aglež I can tell you they have all necessary gear for their 7 day hike in our mountains. They have huge experience, given where they've been (Bolivia, Chile, Peru etc) Wonder how many of you would take 15-20kg backpack on last few hours ascent in such tour as theirs. Anyway such friendly people you rarely meet and I really enjoyed the evening with them.

When I go to the hills I always take something extra for reserve! you never know how easily a nice sunny day turns into icy rain and even hail and snow.. those who haven't experienced it just look strangely at such... but many have already died in mountains due to lacking gear and I fear there will be more....
Well those who hiked mountains only in nice weather and nothing like that just won't ever understand this all others who experienced it will know to appreciate it....
to all pleasant and safe steps without unpleasant surprises...

On Saturday we plan to go from pl.Podvežak over Mala Ojstrica up and direct to Korošica down. How's with snow? From pics doesn't look too much...

On Sunday there was cca 5m of it in one gully which you have to cross on way to summit. Luckily it was hardened. Path from Podvežak to Korošica completely dry.
