Today to Ojstrica past Mala Ojstrica. The trail dry and without scree, descent to Korošica the exact opposite.

Hi,

has anyone maybe gone from Rinka Waterfall Hut to Kocbek Hut at Korošica (past hut at Okrešelj and hut at Kamniško sedlo). From there on to Ojstrica and back directly to the start? How much time for such a loop trail and what's the difficulty?

I went such a path this year but didn't go to Kocbekov dom but straight to the top and in between also to Planjava and back via Kopinškova. I only slept at Kamniško sedlo but without that it'd be about 8 hours without major stops and at some moderate pace. The path is only more demanding downhill from Ojstrica where it's crumblier from the top then there are such pitons and chains. It is true that it's harder to go down than up.

I didn't go in this order, but I know the paths.

Rinka-Okrešelj, easy path, 1 hour
Okrešelj - Sedlo, demanding (some chains, helmet obligatory, rest depends how prepared you are for such paths, basically self-belayed descent), 1.30
Sedlo - Ojstrica, via Škarje, demanding, marked 4 hours, I also detoured to two peaks, it was for me all together 5 hours
Ojstrica - Korošica, demanding (descent from Ojstrica, rest easy), 1 hour

Regarding the return I don't know, probably you have to climb from Korošica back to Škarje and descend to Klemenča jama?! Let others say that, I can tell you up to Korošica. velik nasmeh

If you go to Ojstrica via Škarje, you can also descend back the same path, then turn directly into Logarska dolina, past Klemenča jama and descend to Dom planincev (some 3 hours?) For the ascent to Ojstrica itself you don't need to go to Kocbekov dom. Good luck!

I'm a bit interested in what the conditions are for ascent to Ojstrica via Kopinškova, and further to Planjava, descent to sedlo and to the waterfall, circular tour. I'll be glad for any information on conditions for this weekend. Regards.

From Planjava towards Kamniško sedlo there is snow. I'll provide a photo I took yesterday from KS.

Yesterday 27.10.2015 I was on Ojstrica. Lower part of Kopinškova is snow-free, northern part below the summit is quite snowy.

Yesterday to Ojstrica via Kopinškova, on the ledge quite some snow, ice axe needed, otherwise nice and most dry.

Today on Ojstrica from Planina Podvežak. Road to parking mostly clear, except last kilometer under snow... partly icy too. No snow to the hut at Planina Podvežak, also further through forest path is clear. But snow starts right when path levels and up to Korošica clear and snowy sections alternate. On ridge path mostly clear, just some snow patches in smaller spots. When reaching the rock more snow, but no major issues, especially since footprints are already made. Towards summit no special features, even in notch before summit path clear. Crampons stayed in backpack. From summit descended to Kocbekov dom, here path mostly clear, except last meters before hut, there a bit more snow.

the parking lot was deserted, I don't know why.... it was a wonderful day :)

Earlier I went to check the chapel, here is still the most snow

Today on Ojstrica.
Up the eastern, descent via southern path. On eastern path need to cross snowfield twice for which on descent I would use ice axe myself.
Path below Bela vrh passable without special gear, since footprints made in snow.
