One day before, my wife and I were wandering there. We returned via Planina Dol and that twisted gully to the valley. I don't know how you can like that path!? It won't see me again!
Hope you found some strawberries down in the valley. We treated ourselves properly.

21.06.2015. Ojstrica

Ascent from the fork at the fourth tunnel to Klemenča cave. Short chat and info on conditions then quickly up to the notch via Kopinšek path to the top. For descent we chose the variant via Škarije.

Pegs and cables are impeccable, the path is very well marked and nicely trodden. On the north traverse below the summit there's a snow patch, and quite a bit of fresh snow, but no obstacle. We didn't take winter gear and crossed the snow patches without issues. Actually, more tricky is the chimney where your backpack gets caught, personally for me that little ridge before the chimney which drops steeply on one side into Robanov kot and on the other into Logarska dolina... Yeah, I'm a bit vertigo-prone.

That's the hardest path I've been on so far, but also the most interesting and most beautiful. Now Ojstrica with its 2350 m is also the highest mountain I've conquered.

We are already at the subpeak of Krofička... to it in some future.

Cviko, Krešo and Miljenko are closer to the notch, I am slightly behind. Somewhere here the hunting trail to Krofička branches off

Snow patch below the summit, condition on 21.06.2015. Looks bad, but no issues. Snow is wet and footprints are there.

New snow on the north side. Careful if you go via Kopinškova.

Today some light snow might fall again, but currently practically no snow up there. Only on the classic traverse and a bit before it, where there's a cover of about half a cm and walking and temperatures quickly remove it. That part is the most dangerous because it slips and there's not enough snow to make steps — unlike the flank. Snow is soft.

Today did the tour via Kopinškova up through Škarje dol. Very little snow, so it can be bypassed without problem, so whoever plans to go can go without crampons no problem, since almost no snow left....
But the tour was nice, started at 4 am from Dom planincev, when returning the sun was already nicely shining. So recommend doing the tour early....

Can you tell me if Kopinškova is clear? Usually one patch remains above the exposed wall and I'm wondering if the snow is gone nasmeh

Trail is dry, snow patches just still for sample, so trail completely passable without crampons. Snow easily avoided, trail passable without problems and without danger....

Today from Podvežaka to Molička planina, where I fix broken direction sign and via "old Kocbek path" to top of Ojstrica. If this unmarked path was already painted red spray before, now someone finished it also with purple. jezen

From top descent to Korošica and then over Durce to Dedec. Descent over Prag, where I fix another direction sign (Mojca, thanks for nails mežikanje

), past Vodotočnik over Lastovec and then past hunter hut to parking.

Yesterday from Podveža over Mala Ojstrica to the summit and descent via Korošica and past Vodotočnik back to the car.
Our eight-year-old added two new stamps to his SPP collection tongue
