From Sv. Duh upwards you don't need them, but there is still some wet snow anyway. Maybe take them just in case to feel better, and so nothing surprises you. Good luck!

When I got tired of work, I went to Olševa from Govševa planina; to Lovska koča it's mostly a bare path. Higher in Mrzlem dolu, there's still plenty of snow. I followed the footsteps. The hiker ahead of me was sinking quite a bit. On the ridge the snow troubles end. To the summit almost on a bare trail.

Sleme-Olševa

We went a bit to check the path condition. Wind and tree age made it fall across the path, on the ridge a viper waits for us by the path. Anyway I'll write, path entirely bare. At the top we turned back, as I still had work on Uršlja.

It went the old way, without a motorbike

KUMER- OLŠEVA - BUKOVNIK.

After descent from Pece, near the farm we change some wet gear, eat our prepared food. Of course due to the night hour 2.30 h and cloudy weather we do this in pitch darkness, I put on my third headlamp. The first one's switch failed (not the first time), so it stayed dry. The second probably didn't like the moisture, so it kept turning off. Walking along the road went in silence, we were all in bad mood because of the showers that kept alternating with dry weather. Occasionally I lifted my hood to make sure we were on the right path. When we left the road, probably Klemen woke up, because I muttered some bad words about him, (I just wish he now goes on the spot and checks the terrain condition when vegetation is at peak, not when snow melts and he searches for antlers on the terrain. That way he'll realize he was wrong when removing marks on Pece and here.) Under Foršnerca we turn off the lights. We reach the summit when it's not raining. After descent and along the ridge more showers soak us again. Wind to some extent dries the gear, then shower wets it again. At Bukovnik we lose one member, so five continue.

Last meadow - Govca - Potoska Zijalka - Okna - unmarked path to ridge - Obel Kamen and back to start.

Path nice, easy, lush. From Zijalka to junction for Okna all BP, then some fallen trees that can be bypassed. From windows, unmarked really steep and strenuous, with help from 2-3 wire ropes. If you're looking for it, at two yellow signs (5 min before windows) slightly trodden uphill. At the top aid from cables, which is great.

Road from Koprivna closed until mid-December.

Today on Olševa.

Started from Solčava and intended to go over Mali vrh to Grohot, but the sign for the path to Grohot from Močnik to Bukovnik tricked me.

Anyway, I don't know how many people besides locals go there, although the path is nice. It would be good to clear some blackberries under Jankar a bit, because there's plenty over the path. And since I'm at suggestions, above Bukovnik where the barrier is, it would be nice to put a sign left: Olševa, right: Grohot.

On Olševa a bit of snow on descent from Govca towards Zijavka. Can do nicely without winter gear. There were quite a few people, all from Zijavka direction.

this needs to be crossed, can be along the edge

Tomorrow I'd go up, but don't want to trudge through snow. Probably all paths from Podolševa are snow-free already?

I think it's not among the described ones. But it joins the path over Spodnje Sleme. Attaching pic.

I went on the path that starts at Močnik farm, originally over Mali vrh/Grohot. There where the road branches in Solčava, there's a sign for Grohot on the pole.

No real trudge, except that short part where steps are already made. Otherwise everything is dry from the southern sides.

Circular hike along Olševa ridge - over Oblog kamen up to Govca, then over Glatki vrh and panoramic road down.
Ascent/descent from Oblog kamen is quite exposed in a few places velik nasmeh
