Today's afternoon hike to Osovnik offered nice views. During our visit no hikers on top. Starting point Ločnica-back same way. Path well trodden, slippery in some parts (good to have microspikes). Best regards.

Yesterday Hrastnica - Sv.Barbara - Kožuhov vrh - Mavrovec - Osolnik - Puštal

Recently, when we did Puštalski krog, we were thinking about the possibility of approaching Osolnik along the ridge of peaks via Sv.Barbara. Then I discovered that this description is actually already given here. Tadej has already presented it to us nasmeh

. I said, if there's no other way, I'll go up alone. It was quite rushed suddenly, since everything was first time from the junction in Hrastnica onwards.

And so true satisfaction on the whole path, beautiful weather, views of familiar peaks, over blooming trees from a completely different side, and new paths, different experiences. All this in the most beautiful spring shades of green. What more could you want nasmeh

? A few words spoken at the Kamnar homestead, on the top of Osolnik, real mountaineering peace, as you rarely get up there.

Descent via the known path to Puštal and by the pool and with beer once again praise of the beautiful circular path. Yes, you have to have beer with you at this time, otherwise there's none nasmeh

Same path, but never the same.

Among birds, the goldcrest is most like a mouse, yet also most different from it. With it, sound and image seem not to match. This pretty tiny bird acts like a mouse, but when it sings, its trill echoes through the whole forest.
