On Sunday we girls also went to Osolnik like Primož, but we didn't meet. We started in Mavški graben, first gently, muddy, then steeper and more snow. When it rained in Ljubljana, it was obviously snowing in Polhograjcih, at the top by the little church there was about 20 cm of snow. Snow poured from the roof almost on our heads, let's be more careful... From Osolnik to Gontarska planina, some more ascent, so total 755m elevation, good 12 km, 17,000 steps. On descent from Gontarska planina to Govejek, we noticed it had slid a few times. What about in high mountains, serious avalanche danger. On the planina it was really idyllic, quite a lot of snow, even some bits of blue we spotted, sun couldn't break through... but still we were glad to overcome the gloom of constant rain, clouds, fog. Here family connection and mutual encouragement work. One part of descent a bit steeper, we went more carefully. At the hut in Govejek they have cute bunnies, a cat and two special shaggy piglets. Descent past Mickina house which has new owners. Maybe by next visit nicely renovated. Also by the waterfall, abandoned mill and quickly at the car. First snowy tour of the new year chased away the gray...
