Since it's winter holidays this week, we'll be walking the Loška mountain trail with our grandchildren. I'm interested if there's a stamp at Osolnik and where to get it? Ločanka probably knows.

Today a bit longer loop: Osolnik, Tošč, Grmada, sv. Jakob. Nice trail except the section Grmada -Katarina, where part of the path is muddy, part icy.

Real hikers aren't even stopped by changeable weather in May. From Sora to Hom and on to Osolnik. Below Govejek past the former farm at Mica's, we met the new owners. We continued the trail into Ločnica valley towards St. Jacob, but skipped it this time. We visited a nice couple in Studenčice, had a pleasant chat. The trail is mostly marked, muddy in places, dry elsewhere, as if it hasn't rained for quite a while. It sprinkled a bit during our hike too, but nothing serious. It really is the year of mice, bad feelings when we think about how serious hantavirus is.
Otherwise a nice hike, despite changeable weather, ending in Sora, 18 km, 800 m elevation gain.
