Aha thanks, found it now. I plan to go on foot and won't wait for the bus. Not such a problem, just 3.8 km. To Stara Fužina I'll warm up nicely mežikanje

since I didn't find proper info for parking at Planina Blato, I'll ask here:
-- in August, latest by what time Sat-Sun or on extended weekend 15-18.8 do you recommend arriving to almost surely get a parking spot?
-- is it different in summer on weekdays (Mon-Fri) and can I arrive a bit later?
-- in September and October I assume no problems with parking even on weekends?

thanks for help.

I'm quite often in those areas and there are always problems nasmeh
On weekends before six definitely.
During the week quite similar.
In September and October with nice weather similar.

But you can try your luck and maybe find some gap or someone returns from the tour just then and you get parking.

Parking at Planina Blato is like roulette, lottery or lotto. You have to pay, but getting (a free spot) is extremely hard velik nasmeh

Turbo, I agree. Typical Bohinj.

- the ramp no longer opens when a certain number of vehicles is exceeded
- there is a traffic warden at the parking lot regulating parking
- if you arrive later, I recommend the bus
best regards from Bohinj folks velik nasmeh

Hi
Is the road to Pl. Blato still payable now after the season?
Are bus transports still provided?

Hello,

Can someone advise where it is currently the most convenient to park if we head out for a full-day (or two-day) hike in the Triglav kingdom.

Thanks and best regards,
L.

I apologize, apparently I didn't define it precisely enough - I'd like to start from Bohinj (which the title of this thread and discussion refers to).

Given that the season is over - is any parking lot now free? Say at Savica waterfall or elsewhere nearby where I could start independently of the bus towards Komna/Triglav lakes valley. I've checked the regime on the website but info there is sometimes wrong (at least off-season) or incomplete.

At the gondola it was always free so far. I don't know at the moment if anything has changed, but I always park there, get on the bike and go around...

free, free…. come on, as if it's free if you stay home? Most of them spend even more because of that, cause then they drive to shopping centers. But yeah, parking there is free
