Today I also went to Planjava via Repov kot. Haven't been on this path before and now it's become quite likable. Away from the crowds and lots of interesting things along the path. Some light climbing and exposure. Weather was excellent, views beautiful, there were still quite a few people, I expected more crowds. Descent towards Kamniško sedlo where I looked around a bit and some ideas for the future came up. What can I say, super day, super tour. GPS track-Repov kot-Planjava Cheers! Tone

I'm wondering if you can drive to Jermanca by car, or do you have to park in Kamniška Bistrica?

To Jermanca you'll warm up nicely, so it's good to leave it lower

Smart to leave it a bend before, as the last part is usually in very bad condition, otherwise it's doable.

How smart you are, those answering questions. If you have too much time, do something else; if you think you're doing satire, sign up for another forum. Oh, it's just one red bull who has issues with himself, and both inappropriate answers are his. Look, bikec, what do you know why someone asks to drive to Jermanca. If you had a proper attitude towards the person asking, you'd answer the question not about warming up or sneakers. Safe journey!

Lakkon, no problems on those paths you described, just watch your step. Good luck and safe steps.

gora trma I tell you once more the path is for sneakers and I can tell you once more. If next week you ask me then I'll tell you it'd be smart to take an ice axe and high hiking boots cheers bikec

I don't know what is meant by "teniske". But I'm sure it's not a model of hiking boot suitable for mountain hikes.

With sneakers you play tennis. You can also play table tennis. Or indoor soccer.

Is the Kamniška hut by chance still open these days?

No, Kamniška is closed since 13.10, but after nice weekends they open Sat/Sun, but for the real info call or send mail. You have on the PZS hut list phone or mail address ...

Today my colleague and I went from Kamniška Bistrica up the Wisiakova gully to Planjava. In the morning (at 7 am) the snow in the gully was frozen. The gully was fully filled, conditions excellent almost to Sukalnik. On the south side the snow was already soft in the morning, crusts forming. We traversed part of the slope then turned to the west summit. Due to the soft snow the ascent was quite difficult. From the west summit we traversed the ridge to the east summit. We descended via Repov kot, where the snow was already quite sun-affected (at 12 pm).

I'm kinda scared. Super pics. Isn't it a bit risky at the edge that snow might break, or is it all so hard?

borutpovse: do you mean the 6th pic? No worries, we walked far enough from the edge. True, the photo looks a bit different.

Yeah, that one. Can you quickly tell me where that path goes? I don't know it, always looking towards Planjava and wondering. Thx
