Janez, when you get above the pools out of the forest and a bit further on the path to the wall, there, just high enough over that rock, no problem at all.

Recently I went towards Jermanci, ... and, you can see, the road was repaired, ... But, ... it's already down at Krvavški bridge newly SOOO torn up, I had to switch to 4x4. In between it's quite well fixed, only at the last left bend at Jermanci it's AGAIN SOOO crater-torn up, I almost got stuck again. What if they once got to it and poured some concrete at least at critical spots? Thanks for understanding. Best regards.

4.10.2018:
Tour: Kaptanski greben on Brana - via Šija to Jermanova vrata - via Drenovcev route and NW ridge to Planjava - Zeleniške špice, we started at Jermanci.
The morning was just cool enough for a pleasant hike. Under Bosova grapa a nice day developed. Right at the entrance to Kaptana the first sun rays caught us, creating a pleasant balance to the cold wind. To the summit of Kaptana we found some spicy details. On its ridge we also saw some chamois and a wallcreeper, which Neža saw for the first time. On the summit meadows of Brana we observed a herd of 17 chamois and stepped on some patches of first snow. From Brana we looked at our next goal, Planjava. Meanwhile fog started to appear, which messed up our bearings several times on the tour. Descent via Šija without problems. A bit above the saddle three young ibex kids posed for us.
During the break before the hut the fog increasingly covered the Planjava wall. Access to Kunaverjeva polico we missed the first time, but found it easily the second time. The gully into the cauldron under Brinškov chimney is quite nasty for descent into it, but the exit onto Kunaverjeva is nice climbing. At the end of the ledge we too continued straight up and reached the NW ridge higher up. Upon accessing it we admired three large ibex lazily basking in the sun rays. It also went well along the ridge. We stopped at the passage to the north side, as it was too icy; we didn't even think of proceeding on that side without crampons. We were already thinking of turning back when the idea to search for a path along the south side occurred to us. Searching for passages went well and we reached the summit at the forepeak of the western summit of Planjava. From excitement that we succeeded so nicely despite the obstacles, we practically flew to the eastern summit and there in the shelter enjoyed goodies from our packs.
Zeleniške špice were our next goal. Due to the fog their start was truly magical. The view through the window of Najvišji rob and lying on its meadows especially so. A bit less so lower down, when the fog stole our visibility. We waited quite a while for the forecasted clearing, but it didn't happen. So we continued the descent in it. A bit below Nebeška lojtra it finally cleared, but a bit too late for nice photos. At Staničev vrh night fell and we descended to Jermanca in the glow of headlamps, thus concluding another great tour.

uff, … such a marathon even Red Bull, if it could, would barely manage before dark; all respect to you both also for persistence, as many would descend earlier due to the weather and fog and quit.

I doubt anyone solos Brinškov kamin these days, it's crumbly and overhanging and harder than the technical grade it carries...

Thanks for the congrats everyone. Also fixed the text under number seven. The trip was really exceptionally beautiful and I recommend it. Of course only to those physically and mentally fit enough and used to climbing such ridges.

Well, today I plucked up courage and went to Planjava via Repov kot. Forum folks encouraged me for this trip too. The path is really very nice, you can see that it's well walked. Just below the saddle, find the right path, no panic, terrain not too hard and cairns help. Nice weather, but you can tell it's already October. Road to Jermanca (ca 3.5 km) is perfectly fine and drivable with all fancy cars. Of course there's also an alternative for those who spare their car - ascent from Kamniška Bistrica. And also: one young lady forgot her flip-flops at Jermanci.

So there were at least two of us today. I was quite early, at the top at half past eleven and it was blowing strongly. Met first hikers on the way to the saddle. Missed Tangice, but someone arrived by moped.

@JTrogar and Neža, congrats for this really ambitious trip, three in one!
Planjava is really insanely beautiful and wild.
I'm curious if you avoided snow on NW ridge of Planjava around red chimney, i.e. last part of ridge where it goes vertical again? What was climbing on south side like, crumbly, hard?
