With that, Kočevje and Kranjska Gora are almost 150 km apart. Here it's the same area, air distance is barely somewhere 3-4 km, same location... so it's really quite an unusual phenomenon.

This is somehow almost logical, since there can't be such good visibility towards Grintovec, because it was either less foggy

As already said, I was monitoring the cameras in the morning and noticed a similar picture as on the photos. Around noon it started snowing on V. Planina and Krvavec (live cameras) - on Kokrško sedlo it looked like rain with snow was falling, it started to whiten slightly; the next picture I saw was Tone's.

The camera at K. sedlo showed approx. 5 cm of snow in the evening.

I'm wondering how come there's no more snow on Kamniško sedlo, ... probably I missed one day, ...

They moved it to Planjava.

In the afternoon it showed itself a bit. No new snow, it even took some of the old one. And the green patches seem greener.

Yesterday (Thursday, May 14) via Repov kot to Srebrno sedlo, then to Planjava and back via Sukalnik. I started at Jermanci hoping the weather would hold at least in the morning. It's been a long time since I last hiked the route via Repov kot. Yesterday it was dry all the way. The passage through the gully at the top of the last grassy slopes on the left side of the rocky barrier below the saddle, I found without issues. At the saddle I hoped for a view of Petkove njive and Korošica, but nothing. Clouds were boiling from there like from a cauldron. I hurried towards Planjava. Right above the saddle on the path there was a snow patch, locally a bit steeper. Since I didn't know what awaited ahead, I put on crampons, though those 50 meters might have gone without. Further to the top there was no more snow. From the top there was visibility towards Austria, but from our side fog was pushing in from everywhere. I descended via Sukalnik. There are numerous snow patches on the path, most can be bypassed, on two or three I used the ice axe when crossing. Due to occasional poor visibility I got a bit off on the shoulder below Sukalnik, where the path turns slightly left for about 50 meters and descends rocky-grassy slopes. It wasn't quite clear to me how it was with snow patches there, so using crampons and ice axe I preferred to go straight down the larger snowfield by the wall to the secured part of the path that enters the system of ledges. As I saw later when it cleared a bit, I would have lost less time sticking to the path since probably no need to put on crampons. I treated myself to the descent towards Pastirci via the scree. And about new snow: it all melted away.

Nice loop you made, Jure! This mountain weather is sometimes hard to catch. I had to skip and wait for the sun on top of Planjava, you had to hurry to catch it on top If the snow had been hard, I too would prefer to ascend (and descend) along the continuous snowfield by the wall (pic. 10), but instead I looked for dry patches towards the top of Sukavnik. Obviously, quite a bit of it has melted since Sunday.

Thanks to both. Up to the top of Planjava it was really exceptionally nice and pleasant, then a bit less. But that's part of it.

What are the conditions like from Kamniško sedlo to Planjava?

Conditions are such that without winter gear I wouldn't go anywhere above the peaks above that mentioned saddle, and elsewhere above 2000m it's similar for now. If you don't have it with you you're forced to turn back or slip Good luck

Turbolazec: Practically all cables and pegs are out of the snow. Especially those in the lower part where the path goes along ledges. But around Sukalnik there's quite some scree on the path, which especially on descent could be tricky and dangerous. There are quite a few snow patches, most can be bypassed, some you have to cross. As Dejan says, gear is necessary. Maybe you'll need only ice axe, for me (more out of caution) crampons were also useful. Above Sukalnik on southern slopes to the top no more problems.

''Above Sukalnik on southern slopes towards the top there are no more problems.'' Except maybe here, if you stick to the marked path.

Through Repov kot to Srebrno sedlo and from there to the top. Descent over Sukalnik to Kamniško sedlo. The whole way you step a few steps in snow (nicely made steps) but no gear needed, as predecessors advised . Hut still closed, and even if not we wouldn't stay long, as view of Logarska dolina from where worsening was coming chased us.
