The name of the rose month already tells us a lot, so we went to Grmada today to check if June deserves that name.

Vito, was Rogatec visible? Do you remember when we once talked about it?

I remember, I remember, just today the little roses messed up my head.

If anyone walks around Polhograjci, let them report if any snow has fallen on the peaks. And send a pic.

We just felt the breath of nature, a verse was already born to us. We drove to Topol, chatted about dreams during the drive.. the dear one wished for pancakes, I should have cheeks from makeup. The path to Grmada is summer dry, no trace of frost. The sun was pleasantly warming, only the breeze was spoiling its work. There were quite a few of us on the path, today's day was excellent.

On the sixth picture Kanin is a bit off, since Rodica and Raškovec have winter up there .

@viharnik I copied that from the panorama board at the top. And to me too Kanin seemed quite close.

No problem, we know that Otiv knows the motif of our mountains .

Hi - what are the conditions on the Katarina-Grmada path? We really miss "our" frequent walk on this path and our souls are raining for a long time and the city grayness here in Ljubljana. How does it look, when will the path be safe enough to go again?

Path to Polhograjska Grmada will be conditionally passable (climbing over logs) only after rain, because at this height tree crowns have not yet been loaded with snow and ice, will get extra weight from water, strong southerly blowing (more tree breaking)!!. Ice falling from trees also very dangerous these days for human heads, like projectiles from 20m to ground. Follow locals' instructions who hear what is happening in the forest and ARSO. Maybe conditionally Monday when rain stops, paths literally buried with logs!.

Best thanks - I was counting on that rain to wash our misfortune a bit. Today we decided to go to the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship and we're just setting off, Grmada next week then if all's OK. Thanks again!

Viharnik, you extended the Remembrance Path a bit, length is 32.5 km LP

PST is 35 km long as published also on official website www.pohod.si 32.5 km data from Wikipedia, apparently length of occupation wire around city, path makes slightly longer loop

PST is about 31, 32 km and not 35 at all. PST goes where the wire was supposed to run and is marked there with characteristic white-green signposts. What you see on the link you sent is several hike routes partly on PST, partly off it.
