Let me tell the solution. So, mid-July this year the diving club Krota SUB and PGD members from Domžale did a feat, namely in 24 hours they conquered the highest and lowest points in Slovenia. That's Triglav at 2864 m and Piranski Triglav at 38 m below sea level.
A bit tougher nut was this, but the answers were excellent.
And next time something similar. Good luck to all.

Bravo, congrats OTrogar, I read your message too late because I didn't move to the next page.

Riddle for such a rainy day (almost night): Who knows after which animal the most peaks are named in Slovenia?

The answers were interesting and humorously colored.
Now I expect from you some more mysterious riddle than a poll, it seems to me.
So, let's strain our little brains a bit.
Thanks for the answers, best regards and good luck to all.

After roe deer. Košutnica, Košutnikov turn, two Fat roe deer, all in Karavanks.

Tisa, you'll be even more surprised when other members of the club "Animal Kingdom" appear.

I don't fully understand you. There are also peaks named after deer, partridge, horse, goat and rooster. But most seem to me to be from roe deer. Maybe I'm wrong and I'll really be surprised. It really interests me.

There is also one each for peacock, duck, bedbug, pike, otter, squirrel, crow, crane, beaver, mosquito, firefly, raven and ant.
There are at least three times more after stags than after roe deer. But the stag is not among the first three...

I admit I'm totally surprised, you've completely run me over, knocked me down. I thought I knew our mountains. But they say a person learns all their life. But maybe you know where I could get or read data on these hills, because it's starting to interest me and I would also go to some ant or squirrel.
Thanks for this lesson.

No, I forgot to add that I misunderstood you, namely most peaks per one animal, not peaks with animal names, as you obviously thought. Even if I understood you right, I wouldn't think there are that many "animal peaks".

Before I listed only those peaks named after animals, in Slovenia I found only one (and I forgot garje, mulo, sokola before). Two peaks each have: bull, worm, kite, dipper, tick, mole, swallow, blue, wallcreeper, bumblebee, sparrow, frog. Etc.

Now I don't understand you at all. Obviously you're not talking about hills in Slovenia but in general.
Then you should have phrased the question more precisely.
Where are the others? Are we the only two debating?

By a person? We have grannies and grandpas and a whole bunch of peaks named after former lower-lying owners.

If it's the first time you hear it, Karletto, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I explained it nicely, so read it.
It dawned on me a bit late that you are messing around, atoamac, and that's because I'm not used to such communication and that way of talking doesn't belong to a real mountaineer at all.

Tisa
Read men's comments that follow women's several times, and you'll see that some don't know how to communicate differently. Have you read all posts in this thread, if yes, then you shouldn't be surprised. nasmeh
