12.12. I have time. So if I don't meet any "swine flu pig" by then and if no chains needed on highway due to heavy snowing exactly that day, see you. What the attendance will be is a million € question.

To me, 16h seems a bit late for those coming from farther away  And I hope it doesn't end up that most "get drunk" and probably not everyone intends to "bivouac". Since this should be a meeting of mountain lovers, I suggest an earlier time so a short group walk in nature is possible. Then continue more cheerfully in the hut...
I certainly won't come from the coast just to get drunk Styrian style. But that's my opinion, which doesn't have to be the majority's or those planning to attend. Good luck!

Burja, no panic. With that "get drunk" I meant more word for word, you chat a bit and an hour or two pass by unnoticed.....But bivouac under roof and warm for sure we won't....
If you thought of "Slovenian folklore" or liter for liter, you are seriously mistaken, at least as far as I'm concerned. (but on Komna I really heard that PZS means drunk... about the association...)
But I agree on the time, maybe one or two hours earlier would be fine too.
We'll arrange something...if pointy then pitchforks, if round then shovel, something like that...

Pre-New Year's meeting will be at the hut on Boč on Saturday 12.12.2009 around 15.00 (nothing official yet because I don't know if the hut is available then - it's not open today).
A few things:
transport by private cars,
everyone pays for their own food and drinks,
the meeting is at own risk.
But I have another proposal, that everyone brings a gift worth 10€, then we'd have a tombola where we exchange gifts.

I can go up to the hut tomorrow to check if it's still free on 12.12. or if it's feasible. But does the scenario regarding food and drinks stay as Tadej wrote? I'll go first thing in the morning and then post right away on the forum, and we can arrange further?

Here, the date with the hut keeper is agreed and reserved. By 08.12.2009 I have to tell him how many of us there will be and how we arranged regarding food - whether we'll order a la carte or how? The keeper suggested cooking "Boč goulash" (portion costs 4.90 EUR - cheaper per quantity). Space for 80 people, if we squeeze a bit max. 90.
Due to the actuality of the topic it wouldn't hurt if the admin pins the thread so it's always on the first page.

I'm also for somehow collecting registrations so we'd approximately know how many there'll be, the keeper's suggestion is right and we could have music too since the hut isn't that high 698m.
