Real summer in the mountains is definitely saying goodbye. And I too found some hours to lay hands once more on those warm and for me so heavenly soothing rocks. I needed a path that is a challenge for me, yet ties several pleasant memories to it.
To the path. At 14:20 started from in front of Erjavčeva hut on Vršič. Weather fantastic, too little time for pleasures. Steady quick steps entering the wall which is really close on Kopiščarjeva path. Climbing harness, self-belay kit, helmet and gloves - all gear no exception. Then steep climbs, dangerous crossings, dizzying abysses and beautiful vistas. To the window in shade, other side pleasant sun rays accompanying me to the top. Solid climb allowed me to sit a good 25 mins on top, sweeten up, enjoy majestic views and chat - with coffees of course, as nothing else up there at this hour. All peaks on the palm. Follows fairly quick descent via Grebenska. En route watch sunset and can't get enough of beauties mountains offer me. At 19:00 order coffee at hut on Vršič, sit on terrace and once more gaze at Mala Mojstrovka, Bavški Grintavec and other peaks. Sky moon and first stars. Me still among mountains. Peaceful and calm.
Kopiščarjeva path well secured, only marks to window poorly visible in some parts. Thanks all who make it possible. Path despite all beauties it offers for experienced hikers.

Does anyone know the current conditions on Prisojnik from the south side? Is winter gear needed - ice axe, crampons?
Urgent, as my wife and I plan to go Saturday.

Was on Prisank on Saturday, south path wonderful weather, some sections snow patches where crampons recommended, but can reach top without too. Just careful.

If anyone on descent from Prisank Saturday 19.11 lost pair automatic crampons please contact.
If anyone lost a pair of automatic crampons on the way down from Prisank on Saturday, please contact me.

This morning my colleague and I went to Prisank. It was very nice weather and an exciting trip. We started on the southern (Slovenian) path, hoping it would be dry. But it wasn't. Without an ice axe and crampons we would have lost a huge amount of time, let alone our nerves. The snow is only in the gully and it is very hard. We met only three people, but six ibex and ten chamois.

Before the weather change I drive to Vršič. I see that Mojstrovke are reserved for LJ and KR , so I decide for Prisank. The conditions are the same as in Čokl's video. The path is quite well trodden (torn up) by Freeapproved members. No major problems, except that at least a meter of snow is missing . With crampons on dry sections it can be a bit annoying. Just below the ridge I meet two who were returning, that's probably all the visitors today. Because of the views that Prisojnik offers in such weather IT'S WORTH IT.

Today from Mojstrovke with binoculars I watched three hikers on the summit ridge of Prisanka. I assume they came via the south or Slovenian path. Does anyone have info on Kopiščarjeva path?

We reached the summit on Sunday via Kopiščarjeva and it was wonderful. Snow is only left as a sample and even where it is, it doesn't obstruct the path. The path is normally accessible without any winter gear.
