Today for the first time via Kopiščarjeva to Prisojnik. The path seems quite strenuous, demanding, but nicely routed and a special experience. We met few people, unfortunately among them 3 foreign hikers who with their reckless jumping under the window on us and below also on other hikers triggered real barrages of stones. As an excuse they said the terrain is like that, interesting that I didn't trigger even one stone. Path condition is OK, some torn cables tied back. In places cables replaced with ropes. Back via the Slovenian one, no specialties. Nice tour, only the views weren't the best due to fog. Lp

We were here this year too :) Razor like an illuminated fortress.

can the snowfield be crossed just with 1 ice axe, or do you need 2?

Hi, Venčeslav,

no worries, it goes with one ice axe only. I think snowfield could be avoided - bypass under extreme ledge, but since putting on/taking off crampons takes just 2x2 minutes, crossing snowfield with winter gear seems simplest to me.

Conquered Prisojnik yesterday in very bad weather conditions: fog, rain, and wind via the South path. No snow on the path and it is well marked. Tea at Tičarev dom works great. nasmeh

Hello fellow mountaineers... So, snowfield on Hanzova path only at one spot or two (or more)? How is Hanzova path otherwise equipped? Similar to Kopiščarjeva or harder, easier, different? Walking time from Koča na Gozdu ca. 5 hrs? Any tip? Thanks for replies.

Hanzova is serious, but very nice, especially longer than Kopiščarjeva. One snowfield, but without ice axe you won't reach it. Enjoy!

With Vesna up Kopiščarjeva to the summit and down Grebenska back to Vršič. Paths without special features, somewhat wet in places so careful because slippery. Otherwise very nice and warm day. At Vršič larches dressed in autumn colors so they glow in the sun, therefore recommend visit nasmeh

Halfway, but still a great feeling when you're at the top.

Prisojnik is almost snow-free.

BG, Krnsko pogorje min. snow, in the South everything bare....

No, that wouldn't be true LG,, it depends on which path you take-- hanzova and zadnje okno nicely snow-covered above 2000m, even up to the knee in places, checked,, path to razor is completely dry

I start at Koča na Gozdu towards Prisank over Hanzova stena. Above that wall there were quite tough conditions, mainly snow and ice. Up to Zadnje okno there was lots of snow on north sides. South sides are dry. On Razor's south side it was hot like in a kettle. I continue to Stenar and Gamsovec. Last ascent as already many times this year over Plemenice to Triglav. Plemenice normally passable, just a bit more caution due to icy steps. In my case the descent from Triglav was quite icy, but still better without crampons, i.e. nobody had them. I must mention the friendly weathermen. I ended in Krma.
