Today I was on Raduha from Luče. To the summit with stops via Arte took 3 hours 40 min, return via Loka 2 hours 20 min. Now you can check the map and orient yourself approximately regarding the time.

STANKoJU,
I don't know how fast you are... I went last Saturday... I'm among the slower ones... walked approx. 1h 15min to the hut and approx. 2h to the summit... but the path was on the ski tourers' route... more switchbacks, and southern snow... sank to my knees sometimes...
otherwise it was super...
Have a nice time and stay safe on the path..

Thanks for the data. Today we visited Raduha from Radušnik via Loka to the summit, descended via Planina Arta and Snežna jama back. Despite the not best weather forecast we went anyway and after 10 min snow greeted us, which was strong on Loka. After a short stop it cleared up and at the summit sun and views of Julijci, Karavanke, Kamnik Alps. Started at 6:30 to Loka 50 min, from Loka to top 1.5 h. LP

Was on Raduha 10.5., about a meter of snow. Dangerous where snow covers bushes due to sinking. Vampek and agopes I think if waiting for dry path better wait a bit, snow is wet, otherwise can enjoy nicely even if it soaks the boots a bitvelik nasmeh If you decide I wish you lots of enjoyment on the path... Otherwise no snow on Loka, starts at first steeper ascent

the road is nicely drivable, at some places a bit torn up due to timber hauling. But you can drive nicely to the hut at Loka nasmeh

Attention - they are extensively working on the road. After asphalt ends it starts - dumping sand, rolling, fixing bridges.
So carefully and slowly (or very early - or after 14h) Mornings probably start at 6am - finish after 14h!
Hut permanently open from next week - otherwise info from Mrs. Marija 031 244 725

I was up there today. Road is fine. Hut open. Path to Raduha 95% snow-free. Where there's snow no problems. Weather excellent and lots of people already on the summit.

Hi, I remember you from the top. I went up past Durc, where there's a bit more snow, back via Arto.
Lots of enjoyment in the mountains.

Today via Planina Artana to Raduha summit, back past Durc and hut at Loka. Path fully snow-free except couple mini harmless snow patches from Durc on. Another nice daynasmeh

On Saturday, 23 May, we headed to Raduha and Snežna jama.
Beautiful day with high temperatures and nature clothed in lovely green and colorful flowers.
The path from the Loka hut is nice, towards the summit there is still some snow. Descent to Planina Arte, quite some fallen trees but passable.
End with cooling in Snežna jama at 0 degrees Celsius.

Hi,

just back from Raduha, up the climbing path and back down via Durce. The path is nice, but some snow patches remain in places, recommend ice axe.

Yesterday on Raduha. Weather was unstable, just as our dear weather forecasters said.
That the forecast even "matched" once, unbelievable.

At the climbing pitch it rained a bit, that happens too, we climbed a little, pulled ourselves a bit and already on foggy summit. Descent was even wilder, path to Durc so muddy and slippery you'd need crampons just for that part. From Durc still some adrenaline over that little jump and snow and hop, already at the clearing and sledding spot!

Anyway, David said the basics, I add SUPPLEMENT---> path is beautiful but far from easy, ice axe definitely basic, for feet carve steps in snow, that's what we did. Since we had no ice axes, skirted snow always right by rock where melts fastest and safe to proceed. Upper part one cable section under 1.5m snow, so step on cable bolt and pull over, where enough holds to get across. To summit just little cough.

Think description detailed enough now to know actual conditions. In 2 weeks snow gone and winter says bye in this part of Alps too.
Well, high time :>
