Well me and my girl were there yesterday. We went from Robanov kot, over the hut in Grohot then to Raduha via "ferata" (which it isn't), down to hut on Loki and further past snow cave to Robanov kot. On the way we did 1700m ascent, net walking about 8h. Path to Grohot drags on and views not that great. From Grohot to Raduha nice path, a bit exposed, scree more problematic. From Raduha to Loki easy nice path. From hut on Loki down is tiring path. We cross practically whole slope of Raduha, exposure quite bad. Walking on scree and slip risk really big. Path drags and mentally tough, concentration 110% all time, even after 6h walking. Anyway trip was nice, good weather, only for descent need something else

Aja... sometimes need to give remark, so this time blame to PD Solčava who poorly maintains marks on path from R. kot to Grohot and ridiculously expensive tea in Grohot. Pardon, but in Ljubljana city center where coffee 2.5€ tea is 1.4€... here 1.8€. considering used to 1€ tea everywhere was small shock.

Well, I also have quite some of Raduha, hut keeper at Loki not friendly at all. Tea became money source also at Cojza hut, if at least rosehip tea, stale tea for 1.70eur. Oh well...

Fazo, tea in Ljubljana from filter bag, in Grohot hand-picked and home-dried, and huge cup of honey with it. Worth every cent to me, never drank better tea anywhere! Price includes ambience, friendly service, effort in preparation, and fact I drink it at 1400m. If that doesn't convince you, I suggest you buy a thermos and bring your own tea, doesn't take much space in backpack. Don't understand why in city 1.4€ tea obvious, in mountains total disaster if bit more expensive?! Twisted logic...

I think Fazo is right, in Grohot everything too expensive, unfriendly keeper, half hikers anyway go past hut to Bukovnik farm for schnapps with milk

Yesterday we did a tour colleague planned long time - namely by bikes over Raduha. Route: Velenje, Mozirje, Ljubno, Struge, Snežna jama, over planina Arta to summit, Durce, hut Grohot, Bistra, Črna, Sleme, Velenje. Partly cloudy weather helped esp. carrying bikes over Raduha. Tour without issues, more caution only on descent over Durce. Some data: 2600vm, 115km. Lp

uhmm, given the terrain and pics were you at all on bikes on Raduha itself or just carried them as props? (like on attached pics??)

Bikes over Raduha were mostly on shoulders or by the side . Regards

What do I think about this "feat", nothing. Foolishness. Besides, these aren't mountain conditions, but self-praise.

more or less agree with dore. A bit less harshly though, because I have nothing against it, but don't quite understand you, read about merrymakers who went "by bike" to Triglav and have to say the point isn't very obvious to me, but okay, to each his own I guess.

Maybe you're right. But if a person sets a goal that's quite hard to achieve, in the end they can be very satisfied with themselves that they succeeded. The point maybe "shortcut" from Ljubno to Črna na Koroškem . Regards

'OGO' give some more pics of something else-nature, since this isn't a site for selling bikes and cycling gear. And no bad mood! LP!

Yesterday on Raduha. A bit of trouble finding the right starting point, ran into two hikers with the same issues. We head towards Grohot, short break then continue up the climbing path to the top and descent via Durc. Due to rain the previous day, the rock doesn't offer the best grip, so we use the via ferrata set, which turns out to be the right move. Slipperiness is considerable. At the top a bit of sun, more fog, which prevents nice views around. Return via Durc pleasant, lower down we encounter a group of alpinists I think, who are on the wall advancing almost vertically upwards. A bit more descent and we were at the starting point of today's path. Nice path, but in wet requires caution. Greeting to the hikers from N.Gorica too.

Today's enjoyment on Raduha, before that on Lanež and then across Mala Raduha, was quite varied, from sunny weather in the morning and still decent views all the way to snowing and among other things meeting roe deer. And hope the warm autumn sun will still shine. And safe steps!

Today I was on Raduha and specifically drove under the hut at Loki , then did a circular tour: Planina Arta-Raduha summit-past Durc to Lanež-past Jelovec on unmarked path back to the hut. Super tour and the day was fantastic, sunshine and warm!
