Well, snow depth isn't that important if you know the path from hut to summit. Take snowshoes, crampons, some food and drink and break the trail. If too much snow turn back tired to valley, rest, in a day or two repeat. Done.

Best from Radušnik farm, then marked trail past Loki hut and on to Raduha.

Today from Radušnik to the Loki hut. Because there is quite a lot of snow higher up, we without snowshoes, we returned a bit disappointed to the valley. 
On the snow there is a crust that breaks through to the ground in places. Tiring.

Yes, above the hut there is quite some snow, but the crowd (if not too early) will have processed it. Without windbreaker, waterproof boots and gaiters, of course, it won't do.

Yesterday I set off again for a bit longer walk. Didn't want to miss the traditional hike to Raduha. Actually the word 'hike' is almost unnecessary, since there's no longer that mass like decades ago, and the weather forecast was bad too. Parked in Luče a bit after eight, instead of predicted rain, gentle sun rays accompanied me all the way to the hut at Loki. Didn't see a living soul the whole way, one car overtook me on the road section, on return not even that. In the almost empty hut I sip tea and change, put on gaiters and plunge into very demanding terrain towards Raduha. Here I meet quite a few groups of hikers, fog, snowfall and sleet alternate. Much colder at the top, strap and windbreaker come out of the rucksack. On return to the hut I eat super bean stew, peek a bit if I could join someone for ato, but all present were still far from farewell to the pleasant hut. I think there were total between 50 and 60 hikers at the top, from Luče I was probably the only one.
