I also think kasko insurance covers (should cover) all costs on the car in case you're guilty or not for the accident, car damage. Insurance doesn't apply only if you intentionally destroyed your car (staged an accident for your benefit), which police and assessors quickly find out. These kaskos now after claims are getting worse, even the most trusted Triglav insurance isn't what it was.

Today confirmed, road passable easily with C3. Aja, and there was no heli for Matejca. Ree, one wonders what kind of people exist or where their thoughts wander.

Hi! Does someone have information about Triglavska cesta conditions? Can you reach the parking just before Aljažev dom by car?

Triglavska cesta (if you mean the road through "dolina Vrata") is closed. You have to walk for about 5-6 km to reach Aljažev dom.

The road to Vrata is dry and drivable to the parking lot at Aljaž, but still officially closed with signs. The winter room is open only in the lower part. I advise against the ascent to Kredarica over the threshold due to heavily wind-blown and dangerous snow (on Friday we met two who turned around at approx. 1,800 m and descended back to the valley).

Today we visited Aljaž Hut. Road to Aljaž Hut officially (until 13:30) is closed, otherwise plowed to the hut, parking too. With winter tires no problems, with summer tires in my opinion need to wait for the ice on the road to melt (after 12:00). The biggest problem I see is meeting two vehicles in higher sections. View of the north Triglav wall was wonderful.

A colleague told me that there's a fallen tree between 7 and 7.5 km on the road to Vrata. Besides full high mountain gear, take a chainsaw just in case they haven't removed it yet Good luck

Yes, last night a tree fell on the road a bit behind Peričnik waterfall, so we "early birds" had to walk from there. But now the road is already cleared and normally drivable..Best regards!

I need information about the road to Vrata. Up to where is it plowed, is there a track to Aljaž hut or just ski tracks, are snowshoes welcome, amount of snow? Thanks.

Maybe someone knows info. what's the footpath from Mojstrana all the way to Aljaž hut like? Is it passable or not, how much snow etc? I also found info from August 2017 that the path from Peričnik waterfall to Aljaž hut is not repaired, does that still hold? Thanks
