muflon11 is asking about the hiking trail, not the road. On the PZS page there's no indication that there's anything wrong with the trail: https://stanje-poti.pzs.si/

JusAvgustin, you can easily get to Teraž. Park at the little bridge (it's cleared), but to Aljaž you'll have to walk a bit... LP

Early in the morning (still too late) parked at Teraž. To Peričnik without crampons you can't do anything (at least basic ones). Further, old tractor tire tracks, so to the road where Rovti are you can walk somewhat normally, even without crampons; further on you need snowshoes or the made track (shoe no. 38 )… Winter room at Aljažev dom closed (Don't get why)!? No tracks over Tominškovo, same for Sovatno and Prag. But tracks lead to bivouac under Luknja, snowshoes visible,... Ice not stable, no for screws, all you hit with axe flies in big pieces, no for crampons or without,... More ice on ground than wall,... Turn around and on way back meet only 1 hiker,... Nice greeting and good luck!

Warning all valley visitors to be careful where they leave their vehicles and what they leave in them. During my last visit strangers tried to break into my car, although I had only some spare clothes in the car. Perpetrators were reckless as I have at least 500 EUR damage on the car due to their actions.

Warning also applies to Planica / Tamar. Probably the same scoundrels. It is true that hikers who leave wallets in cars are also guilty. Thieves search and take only cash.

Are hikers also complicit? Then leave a note on the car that you took your wallet with you on the hike.

I always write a note and put it on the dashboard with this content: no cash or other valuables in the car.

@redbull First turn on your brain, then the keyboard. The real situation is exactly as I wrote. Sadly, you have to behave self-protectively. Many also open the glovebox so that it's visible that it's empty. Somewhere else, in an ideal world, only the crooks would be guilty.

@mpp with this last post you blew it - in an ideal world there'd be no crooks at all I might not use exactly the term "complicit" for leaving wallet in the car, but fact is thieves break in because it pays off. If it didn't pay off - i.e. if everyone consistently took wallets on the hike, there'd be fewer break-ins

@zavest, won't hold. Thieves don't know if the wallet is with us on the trail or hidden in the car, so they break in and check. Sadly. Once someone said the smartest thing is to stick a note on the driver's door: "Car unlocked, nothing inside, check if you want."

We've tried unlocked car yeah, and they still broke in. If you break in 100x and every time hit empty, you'll eventually stop or cut down because the risk to reward is too high and it's not "profitable". But if every 10 or 20 broken cars there's a wad or bag with a few bills, you keep going because it pays... Of course it doesn't happen overnight. Abroad e.g. they don't break certain rules also because punishment is just a matter of time. Specifically e.g. speed limit compliance on roads in USA, where you rarely see drivers over or under the limit.
