Dolenjska is known for the fact that the most pious people in Slovenia live here. Branch churches stand on large hillocks. It is full of chapels and crosses. Our visit to Nebes from Šentrupert was no exception.

From yesterday from Pohorje. We wandered around Pokljuka and among other things also viewed the church of the Three Kings, which is near the Veliki vrh ski slope, which actually belongs to Bistriško Pohorje. It's the southern part of Veliki vrh -1200-1347m. It has four slopes - they're making a fifth one.

It's a real little basilica, which they completed in 1732. They built it on the site where three crosses stood. It's 22m long, 8m wide, 5.5m high. The church has a triangular apse, sacristy and bell tower in front of the west facade. The bell tower has a pointed arched entrance. The roof is local - slate.

21.08.2023 - that's all I saw of sacred things on Jelovica. We visited Vodiška planina, Oblakova and Povšnarjeva planina.

We hiked on the island of Cres. Better said, we strolled.
We stayed above the small town of Beli. This is the church in the center of the settlement. It is called Presentation of the Mother of God in the Temple.1
Nearby is also this chapel. I did not find out to whom it is dedicated.2
At this place is the hill Kalvarija and the way of the cross leads there.3
All stations are carved into this stone like this. These stations are so similar that I missed some or photographed some twice.4
