This time I almost made a diploma thesis on the path of three churches in Laško. It's about these three little churches - church of St. Michael in the village Šmihel, church of St. Christopher in village Strmca and church of St. Catherine in village Kuretno. The churchwarden of the church of St. Michael in village Šmihel even welcomed us in the ancient rectory, served us schnapps and unlocked the church for us to show it. The path is marked. I had to be careful not to mess something up. If there are mistakes just point them out.

Rarely can we peek into these branch churches on our hills.

Proper research would be needed to determine which saint a particular altar belongs to.

Rarely is there the right light in churches for quality photography.

I like to examine all the equipment of these old churches - this is the pulpit.

The church usually includes a sexton's house - at least they renovated the roof.

This is how this church looks zoomed in from the valley.

Already on the steep ascent from the center of Laško we encounter this monument.

In front of the church below there were also two chapels - this one is abandoned.

The other one a little further is being renovated.

In the village of Šmihel itself, a little beyond the church, we see two more chapels.

In the distance on the hill above Laško this little church was visible - it should be the Church of the Mother of God - I'm not sure.

In the Škofja Loka hills there are many churches on these hills. We visited one yesterday on the hike of Škofja Loka young hikers. There were about a hundred. From Puštal - part of Škofja Loka - we went to the village of St. Andrew which has a church of the same name. In between I also photographed all chapels and crosses at all points.

Quite soon on the path across Puštal we encounter the first cross.

In Puštal this chapel quite hid behind the corner from me.

On the way back we met two more crosses.

Above Puštal on a small hill is this church that I don't know.

This time Četrkovci - retirees section PD Škofja Loka - went to Kozjansko to see the Love Tower - Žusem. Start was in Javorje and I photographed that on this tour. Because I'm usually the broom or tail of the hikers I can really focus on photography.
