Regarding the transverse path I'd be of a different opinion, although it's Enka- but the rules are somehow different

SPP transverse does not go through Turski žleb, but Okrešelj - Ledine - Rinke - Skuta.

Hey, someone is responsible for the repair, ... Otherwise let this path turn into pathless terrain, then I'll understand nothing needs repairing. LP!

If it's a marked path, regardless if it's part of SPP or some other "detour", the path caretaker (PD) is known and responsible for it. It is true though that replacing a cable is something completely different from painting markers...

Let's close this topic once. For Turski žleb PD Celje - Matica is responsible and for Ojstrica area too. Path manager is found at web address "planinske poti PZS". If we click the aforementioned address, map of Slovenia with drawn mountain paths appears. Find the area and path of interest and click the track with arrow. On right side of map a window opens with track numbers. When clicking track number it highlights thicker on map, in window data appears (name and path caretaker, difficulty, length, ascent and descent length, walking time)... Happy "researching"...

Hello. Weather experts - will the weather hold tomorrow for visiting Skuta from Kamniški konec (via Žmavčarje) and return over Kokrsko sedlo. Start around 4:30 from Konec? Return around 13-14h! Regards

G.Pecenko would tell you straight away Otherwise until 11.00 it will surely be dry, after that no guarantee. If you go only to Skuta, return at 14.00 is a bit long Good luck

Hi Wondering if driving from the house in Kamniška Bistrica to the freight cableway is really prohibited? Since when and why, given that last year they still parked at the cableway. Thanks for the answer. Regards

The sign prohibiting driving is turned into the bushes... who did it I don't know, I was to the freight yesterday and not the only one The road is normally drivable with caution

Eh... lots of talk about this in one neighboring thread when someone asked about driving to Jermanca. Anyway, apparently that sign is just because the road is not maintained regularly so that no one sues the road authority if they drive their car into too big a hole

Does anyone know if water flows from the spring between Skuta and Štruca (a bit off the path) this year? ☺

I searched for it in vain on 27.7. We were almost out of water and when I saw the inscription on the rock I listened for possible gurgling and searched for water, but I didn't find it. It is true, I don't know exactly where it should be. In the end, with our supply we passed Dolgi hrbet, Mlinarsko sedlo, Grintovec and only quenched our thirst in the hut

On Thursday 15.9. I headed to Skuta via Žmavcarji to the bivouac at Mali Podi and then on to the summit. Weather was foggy so no views but still interesting to get to know the mountain in completely different conditions. PICTURES and personal impressions from the trail Regards! Tone

On Monday afternoon I headed over Žmavcarji to the bivouac, slept there and early in the morning continued to Skuta, the morning really promised, wonderful views, fog below stars above and mountain outlines, and I could hardly wait to be on Skuta summit at sunrise but everything changed quickly, the brighter it got the more fog pressed from all sides, and so the sunrise went down the drain. But I have to say that this time the fur stayed home, if by chance there was a sheep somewhere, so that DINDO wouldn't worry that it would be scared.
