Probably the result of some Tricholoma.

It's ok, I put the pictures on the forum thinking I'd get some smart reply from experienced hikers. Then only nonsense here about aliens for nothing. Like on some cheap forum. lp

That's right too! Let's wrap up the sausage! Otherwise I also visit Slavnik in winter time, but recent years almost no snow. This year it'll obviously be real winter! LP

Today promised nice sunny and cold day, just right for short hike. Decided for Slavnik. Nice path to top, midway somewhat frozen, caution advised. Towards top white idyll, nice walking since snow not frozen. At top excellent view of our Julian Alps with highest Triglav! Today I was on Slavnik from Podgorje. Just right temperature for solid pace uphill. At top wind, bit of rain showers, 16 degrees. Tomorrow probably head up again.

Hello! This weekend (3.10.) there will already be the 9th night hike under the full moon from Kokosi to Slavnik. I'm wondering if any of you has participated in it before. On that June night hike from Hrpelje to Slavnik I was already there and it was great. How is this one? Thanks and best regards

Well, we went, me and the little one, to Slavnik. It was still quite windy, otherwise family atmosphere. To be honest we weren't up long, soon back to valley with friends, went swimming . What a picture, as Koper folks say Slavnik is even better and prettier than Triglav.. .

Koper folks? Well everyone praises their own horse! It's nice, but nice elsewhere too (nice, nicer, nicest)!

Hello! In today's PN (Primorske novice) it says a 73-year-old was 444 times on Slavnik last year (from Podgorje). On one hand bravo, on the other... there are other hills. Unless you vow.

Super 77-year-old, all compliments!!! of course there are other hills, but many a mountaineer has no car, so access to them is quite difficult. once again 77-year-old mountaineer, ALL COMPLIMENTS!!!!!

Today the parking lot in Podgorje was packed full, uphill more than to half the hill completely cleared - totally bare. From there on the path (steep from Podgorje) is icy and I warmly recommend 4-point crampons or similar. On top excellent day, windblown and compacted snow up to 20cm. View wasn't exactly the best. Unlike last week when it was already something to trudge through from Podgorje to the top.

Today we ascended from Skadanščina, village on the edge of Matarsko podolje, to 1028 m high Slavnik. Path to top well marked and almost entirely bare. Some snow patches only in upper part. Descended via (un)marked path past planina Jegno (path only approaches the mentioned planina). On this path still some snow in upper part. Regards Esther and Tadej

I was on Saturday by bike to Slavnik, such cold I haven't experienced this year yet.. it was blowing and freezing to go nuts.. couldn't it be spring already now.. anyway descent from Slavnik to Prešnica on trail is bomb.. really nice tour by bike... on foot a bit boring

Maybe just one more warning. Lots of ticks, so protection against them is not superfluous.

How long does the last part of SPP from Slavnik to Ankaran take (time-wise), for a fit hiker. Thanks.
