Thanks, when I was shooting chamois they buzzed around my head and are masters of hovering, so they can be photographed. I think they are called hoverflies.

Today a slightly different approach to Špik.
From the cross in Krnica across the scree still in pitch dark in the moonlight. Here I turn into the rocks and climb directly to Gamsova špica. Then a short traverse to the marked path, then I tackle everything. The summit unfortunately wrapped in fog. On the return the play of fog and sun around peaks beautified the tour. nasmeh

On Saturday, 14.11.2015, I did a solo ascent on Špik. Up and down via Kačji graben, and midway a detour right to Lipnica. The view was excellent despite mostly cloudy conditions, partly sunny too, light wind on the summit. The path is very steep and good training for strength and fitness. On the scree, some patches of icy snow that can be bypassed. Also towards Lipnica some snow patches, no issues. Met several chamois unafraid and posing nicely. Kačji graben is ideal in these conditions, but in the sun I wouldn't want to be here jezik

On Sunday, 6.12.2015, I was with my brother and friend on Špik through Kačji graben. Weather gorgeous, only a bit of wind on top. Snow mostly doesn't hold human weight, only at some spots. Some places in Kačji graben have a bit of ice and more caution is not amiss. Towards the top, snow and rock mix, mostly snow. I used crampons, but they are not necessary in my opinion.
