Today I watched it from Preddvor; it seems nicely covered to me. It's hard to say about the cm but I think there's quite some. Tomorrow I'll know more as I'm going to Bašeljski vrh.

Here. At Kališče it's a good 20 cm, further from the hut towards the saddle it's blown and mostly around 30, somewhere even more. I then went from the saddle to Bašeljski vrh and it was somewhere blown up to my ass (and I'm not even 150 cm ). But someone before me went to the saddle and on to Storžič.

Today from Bašelj on unmarked path to the top.
No snow on the path anymore. On top it blew a bit, so we quickly scooted to Dom na Kališču. Also on this path not much snow patches and those can be avoided. But in the gully from Planina Javornik still quite some snow. Today quite some hikers conquered the top.

Yesterday I looked at the north side of Storžič. It looks like there is still quite a bit of snow, so winter gear would be needed. You can find the picture under the conditions for Veliki vrh and Kofce gora.

Today Storžič from Mač via Kališče, no snow anywhere on the path, here and there some patches beside it, overall completely safe. Ideal morning, light wind, only sun, pleasant temperatures. At the top one hiker came via Žrelo and mentioned that there are still some patches that can be crossed. Škarjev rob is still quite solidly snow-covered, but people are walking on it too.

slavi0902, very interesting obirski grobelnik at this time. I only find it in summer in the Julian Alps. Tomorrow I'll go check right away. Starting from Jekarica and also check the tributary of the Kokra river - Reka, which makes wonderful waterfalls.

Here, first hand, today up through Žrelo and back over Škarjev rob. No problems in Žrelo due to snowdrifts, but terrain is soaked and therefore very crumbly and slippery. Section from top to Škarjev rob is pretty substantially snowed, snow is crusty so there were several collapses to knees and even to the butt. Had to be quite careful.

Anyway, this yellow rožica is currently located just a few meters below the summit cross, where there are some blooming plants and nowhere else on the entire path walked today.
For visiting Storžič in these stormy days early start is mandatory, as after twelve or one fog can start gathering.
