Today's conditions:
Park at Krma start by Pocarjeva farm. Foresters dragged road further km, but it worsens and no parking at end. Road has plastic car parts from those who pushed too far.
Track and ski track laid, morning both hard as concrete. Put crampons on at shepherd hut. Foot track to Triglav top, most protections out. Snow in traverse bit crumbly, if trip hard to stop with axe pick.

Wind strengthened, cold set in, road dry to Zasipska planina. Super forecast, so yesterday a bit after seven already stepping into fresh morning. Total about 10 cars stranded along path, expected some company. But none; on path, in hut, on mountain handful people. Conditions for walking excellent, no need for steps but on nice hard white. Friendly soldier brews last tea for me, few mins later flies to valley for deserved rest. Dump unnecessary things from backpack and head into quite demanding climb of Mali Triglav, as steps locally very destroyed.
Higher it was nicer, disturbed by strong rare gusts of wind, especially on ridge section where no cable. On summit very short time, as I have bad experiences with frozen fingers. mrk pogled

Visibility fantastic. Descent to K. took much more time than ascent, but took lots of photos in between as there were moments of complete calm. Towards Krma just softened enough to sink to ankles and return was real treat.

First, at the summit I clicked Rjavina with still warm fingers.

Right of Cmir, Dovje and Mojstrana, behind the kingdom of Kepe.

Over Bavški Grintavec and Rombon Kanin, right Žrd.

Fortunately this year a bit less snow, so that novices don't 'crampon' on the roof.

Today there's no fear that cokle will form.

To me, next to Rink, the most beautiful bouquet.

In front: Mišeljski Konec, Vršaki and Kanjavec.

All remains from the kitchen 'throw over the fence'.

Just as I was leaving towards the summit, the helicopter changed crew.

Ascent (descent) to Mali Triglav is quite demanding in some places. Behind me, two more mountaineers went up.

Every time I go here, I think of the unfortunate Ruth.

Yesterday from Krma to Kredarica. Snow conditions still on Kalvarija, several snow patches crossable without winter gear. Snow melting fast. According to hikers, two more patches to the summit. One 30m long on the saddle from Mali Triglav and one just before the final climb. Both snow patches are tracked. Due to high temperatures, the snow is also melting quickly. Today on "last snow criterion" velik nasmeh

via route Krma - Kurica - Konjsko sedlo - Planika - Triglav - Kredarica - Krma.
Didn't use winter gear, snow over Kurica can be bypassed on left side, to Planika some snow fields already trodden, maybe first one longer in shade. From Planika up first snow field has steps and then to Mali Triglav nothing noteworthy, no snow on ridge, before last ascent to Triglav only noteworthy snow field needs some care, of course all snow fields softened in this heat ... so for my route can say summer season is open. mežikanje

On summit still quite some snow, no crowd, little wind, views satisfactory ... day well spent. nasmeh

On Sunday and yesterday back on Triglav after almost two years. This time with Slovaks met about a month ago on Konj. From Pokljuka, overnight at Kredarica and up for sunrise. Temp already below freezing, cold feeling increased by icy wind. First time alone on summit for few minutes. Descended past still closed Planika and back to Rudno polje before heat. Paths over Kredarica and Planika passable without winter gear as bos said.

I'm wondering if it's still possible to drive to pl. Konjšica or if there's already some barrier? Or is it still a valid starting point? Thanks
