on the alpine pasture the cow bell doesn't ring anymore.
Our mountain step hasn't stalled,
so we went to see how Očak looks.

Hi,

on Saturday on the path from Studorski preval towards Rudno polje (approx. 100m from the junction Uskovnica - Rudno polje) I left a black Burton fleece in the streambed, which someone has already found (yesterday I went to check and it wasn't there anymore).

Unlike @otiv, I didn't manage to observe many flowers during the ascent to Tosc on Tuesday. After a previous visit to Vernar, which is an outstanding peak with a steep path through grass and a finish over rocky ledges and a sharp ridge, I tackled Tosc from Bohinjska Vratca. I entered at a clearly visible spot, overcoming rocky jumps, scree and narrow cluttered gullies by my own sense of the right direction and exited onto the summit slope right at the larger cairn. Interesting ascent that brings you to the soft, dense green grass of the summit with exceptional views in all directions. At least it was like that on Tuesday.

We also had that luck to climb above 2000 m this week, on Thursday 3.10., and enjoy the magnificent views of the peaks rising from the misty whiteness. We started at the end of the Pokljuka road and through thick fog via pl. Konjščica ascended to Studorski preval and then continued to Tosc. The fog was really persistent and unpleasant for walking, but luckily the summit paid for everything. No other peculiarities on the path. The foggy sea stretched as far as the eye could see.

Today we used the nice day and didn't regret deciding on Toscnasmeh. On the summit it was quite windyzadrega, but the view was so much nicermežikanje

On such a day you really need to go somewhere if possible. Tosc never disappoints, I decide on it whenever I go up.
The day was gorgeous, warm with wonderful views, so I continue to Veliki Draški vrh. Down the steep grasses of Tosc towards Draški vrh. First I go a bit my own way, lower down I join the path and off to Draški vrh nasmeh
On the summit a few people were enjoying, I don't stay long, I descend to the saddle between the Draški vrhovi and along the scenic path continue to Viševnik.
In the late afternoon it was already lonely, only one hiker arrived at the same time to the top, he had a friend with him mežikanje After a few minutes they go back.
I just sit a bit, eat everything tasty from the backpack nasmeh
Follows the descent to Rudno polje and the circle is closed. Nice day, hope there'll be more like this this autumn.

Apparently yesterday two Ajdas stood on Tosc nasmeh

Simply a wonderful day. Sky without a cloud and autumn larches formed an excellent color combination, and when you add the crazy views from Tosc, one wouldn't return to the foggy valley at all. nasmeh

The first part of the ascent (right after the junction from the path to Vodnik shelter) can't pose any problem.
The continuation can be a bit tricky in case of fog, because there's no longer really a visible little path, so one can get a bit "lost" if there's fog (and it's often foggy on Tosc). On the way up it's probably not yet, so remember some distinctive rock or if there's a cairn, so you'll orient yourself easier on possible return in fog.

Otherwise it's not that bad, just telling you so it doesn't surprise you.
