Has anyone maybe walked over Kotliče in the last few days? Is there still some snow there?

Via Kotliče on Sunday, 21. 7., around 7.30 in the morning. No snow, fixed protections are fantastic, we had fog you could cut with a knife. Visibility max 15 m mrk pogled

. We were first on Turkish Mountain that day (at least according to the logbook). Wish you better weather.

Yesterday from Logarska Valley to Turkish Mountain.

and another view down before we climb a bit

then we head to Rinka, along the way such a view into Logarska dolina

at Okrešelj they were diligently working all day

already on Turska gora, view back to the crown of Rinka

view back on the traversed path, then also to Okrešelj and to the valley

Since quite some time passed since I was on Turkish Mountain, I conquered it today. Went from Jermanca, past the hut at Kamniško sedlo. Weather wasn't the best but peaks occasionally showed from the fog. Near the top ran into a herd of ibex up close. Four of us on summit, with one we went together to Kamniško sedlo. Path is quite varied but well protected.

Yesterday's day or morning didn't promise much, already on the way to Logarska Valley it was lightly raining.
But from experience I know weather up high can be completely different - and it was, only difference no rain but foggy.
Main thing was rocks from Okrešelj onwards were dry. Fog was parked whole day on Brana and
Turkish Mountain, also quite windy there. Only neighbor Mrzla gora bathed in sun. Path Logarska - Okrešelj - Kamniško sedlo - Kotliči - Turkish Mountain - Turski žleb - Logarska.
Path is nice, especially from turnoff to Brana, well protected, interesting is also the bottomless barrel which is slowly collapsing at edges. Helmet mandatory, SVK as one likes.
Return classic through Turski žleb, seems easier to me than back over Kotliče, surely faster path.

Yeah, the early hour is obviously really worth gold - in the morning on the path from Kamniška Bistrica valley I was still admiring the nice day above Brana and Turska gora, at the bivouac on Mali Podi it started - fog and cold wind, so I left Skuta for a nicer day and headed over Turska gora to KS, the whole path in really nasty weather. Well, next time it'll be better.

Dejan - kudos for the nice tour, nice pics and blog about the tour. Yesterday it really turned fast, somewhere a bit before 9am everything was already foggy there in KSA, when I was heading to Peca and looking your way. Only Raduha and Peca were still fog-free oases, but around 9:30 it was over here too. Wind was really strong and cold. Hoping for Indian summer in October, then there'll still be chances for some more serious tours. mežikanje

Yesterday in gorgeous weather on Turska gora, up through the gully back through Kotliče – very few visitors. For some time Aleš kept me company, whom we met at Okrešelj! Hope you got to Skuta!
