joc001, real climbing on this tour very little, better said none. I think ice axe, crampons and helmet suffice for experienced mountaineers like Rozka. You can of course moralize such "irresponsible" behavior.

V Koncu - over Žmavčarje - bivouac under Skuta - Turska Mountain Conditions today: road to V Koncu parking normally drivable. Snow starts after forest border, somewhere at first rock jump, recommended to put on gaiters as it is soft and sinks. To bivouac possible without crampons, then needed. Good track to Turska, several hikers today. Except moments of strong wind gusts, no other issues today.

Today ascent to Turska Mountain. Start in Logar Valley through Turski Gully to summit. Most annoying path to Okrešelj icy and problematic esp. on descent. Excellent snow in Turski Gully, no sinking, crampons gripped well. Steepness considerable esp. before gully exit. Track from gully top to Turska summit, caution where it crosses north Okrešelj side, big drop below. Return very careful through gully, snow not windcrusted, didn't stick to crampons. Pleasantly tired ended great winter day. LP

Don't forget it snowed yesterday. Since they don't plow the road I think chains will come in handy. LP

The road was drivable yesterday without chains, about 3cm snow on it.

Hi! Wondering if anyone was by chance in Turski Gully or knows conditions after last snowfall (Thursday). Mainly interested in ski descent conditions. Thanks in advance for replies! Nice and safe Sunday in the mountains!
