Started at Naravske Ledine around 10am. The road to the hut on the Ledine is exemplarily groomed and gritted. They really made an effort. Hut closed.
Walked to the summit in fog and quite cold. The path is not icy, goes without crampons.
On the summit a fairytale. Not too windy as usual here. Snow dry, didn't sink on packed paths, but off path sinks to .. and further
Hut open only on Saturdays and Sundays.

Jany, nice pics , BUT, you could have "climbed" it from Slemen, especially since you had time

Ha ha, and you could have checked about the hut earlier
They have good schnapps in the hut at Slemen, didn't you stop?

Yesterday, from Poštarski dom ascent via path over Kozarnica and descent over Kal.
Winds didn't spare the forest here either, so on the first path only one fallen tree, which causes no issues, on Kal path at 1200m three spots with several fallen trees making passage difficult, so advise against the latter until cleared.

KRIŽAN-URŠLA ,ŽERJAV, ČRNA.
Follows the last ascent for our exhausted bodies, which we do each according to our strength. At hut
Refreshment and descent to valley. At Kristavčnik due to sightseeing tour, no issues despite disrupted road. Then walk to Črna, there guys just played some local tunes for us. So we circled and finished the hike in our beautiful mountains. Veronika Stočko new member of 24 club. Congrats.

Almost every day gaze lingers on Uršlja Gora for a moment, as if wanting me to notice, to look! Though teasing me constantly, visited her world only twice till now, bit ashamed we didn't hang out more. Hope to make up!
Today parked at Ciganija, in nice winter atmosphere via normal route to summit. Quite some visitors. After tea in hut, headed to cross above Šmohorica, if I wrote right. Bald peak attracted eyes, imagination ran wild, photo stayed in head. Down pulled westwards. Short marked path part, then steep ridge towards Naravska ledina. Followed old tracks of someone stubborn enough to push through all blowdown and navigate former trail. At Naravski peak back to marked, soon left to road towards Križan, from where nice stroll back to Ciganija.

Somewhere I read... most beautiful, most visited, most popular, sung, admired Carinthian mountain, Uršlja gora.
No wonder such description, I'd agree, that world up there really captivates, leaving you speechless. Never really drawn there, nor tour planned, at least not mine. But I'd dare say first time must visit in snow, atmosphere more high-alpine.
Tour started at Dom pod Plešivcem continued via Kozarnica path, returned over Kal. If bit lazy delaying crampons, quite some trouble, so definitely recommend. Especially descent, saw lady in sneakers not knowing how further, others not how to help. Paths icy, over Kal less so.
Ascent time extended due to delaying.
Really beautiful this Uršlja gora, no need to delay visit. Ignoring chapel on Kredarica, highest church in Slovenia. Didn't know before!

Just as you raved about Uršlja, it really is beautiful.
Although I've been to Uršlja countless times, know all paths to the top, haven't read such a description yet.
I remember pulling spur from Poštarski dom - of course with other hikers, we made track - snow height over 60 cm.
Yes, really nice.

In youth we always "pulled spur" from railway station in Ravne na Koroškem. With skis went right to the blocks in Čečovje.

jprim, thanks for the praise. No doubt, Uršlja gora is a beautiful piece of the world! Sadly we had too little time up there for more exploring, not even for a decent stop in front of the hut.

In the upper part (via Kozarnica), but without special difficulties.
From Naravskih ledin just a sample of winter.
