Today with Metod from snow-covered Vršič, over Šitna glava to Little and Great Mojstrovka. No go without crampons and ice axe. Nice sunny day with great views.

Yesterday was too beautiful to "waste" on work jezik.... so off to Great Mojstrovka. Conditions were super, neither icy nor sinking too much. More in the pics.

Today via Pripravniška to the ridge and then to Great Mojstrovka. Weather was fantastic despite poor forecast. There are two jumps in the gully. The road to Vršič was dry and nicely passable today.

On Friday to Great Mojstrovka as part of annual route, skiing to Drevesnica. At least in the morning very good conditions for walking, path well trodden, no wading needed. More on the link:

Today, 6.5.2017, first to Little Mojstrovka via Pripravniška up and then also to Great Mojstrovka. Sun already properly baking and snow accordingly mushy.

From Vršič to Suhi vrh and along the south slope to the Mojstrovke ridge (dry), then descended from Great Mojstrovka with crampons/ice axe and climbed to Little Mojstrovka, which is dry on the south slope.

Today I headed to Mojstrovke from Vršič via the easiest path over Grebenc. Morning conditions excellent, lots of skiers. Up to below the exit from Pripravniška gully conditions very good, then it started sinking up to the knee. Since I don't ski and snowshoes stayed home, I turned back to the valley, from the parking lot I went to Vršič summit - ok path. As I said, without skis or snowshoes walking to the top almost impossible. Most skiers went to VM on the left side. With snowshoes you can traverse Mojstrovke.
Up to here it was possible to get without skis or crampons1

Today on Mojstrovkas. South to little without peculiarities, Hanzova looks well covered in the last part. Also path to big already snowy (wet snow to knees too).

I saw footprints on V. Mojstrovka. nasmeh It tempted me, but it didn't seem suitable for low shoes.
