Even some ordinary farmer could handle the Vršič road with just one Fendt tractor and good plow.
But our highest frequent-connecting pass Vršič, the brilliant minds at the road ministry categorized as inferior mountain road, which in winter is just an excuse not to clear snow.
Neighbor old man tells me about Slovenian conditions like this: Guys, gather together, organize and first clean the tops of our society .

Yesterday we went by road to Vršič Pass. Road is plowed (almost everywhere to asphalt) to Koča na gozdu. But roadworkers put sign road closed ... and drove without chains ... Further good track but not for sleds. Need to find other option for sledding descent.

At Dom pod Storžičem or from top of Ljubel you have good tracks for sledding.
