already in the lowlands...if it goes on like this (it actually will) there will soon be over 4 meters of snow at 2500m in the Julians, as it's already been around 360 cm somewhere there for a while, namely up to 80 cm is supposed to fall. it will stay into summer for a long time, that's also a welcome delivery for our two small glaciers

this picture most likely shows yet another glacier? I know there are more, but the two mentioned stand out in size.

Oh you damned winter
didn't the devil pay you vacation,
that you're bothering spring,
none of us like you too much.
Maybe some lonely snowflake
feels strong by your side,
though it's getting more and more fragile,
snowdrops and daffodils wave goodbye to it.
You just show your teeth,
but the sun will grind your horns,
then warm spring will come,
driving away your snowflakes and cold.

Ice roses are more beautiful than daffodils and snowdrops, and even though Otiv wants spring, don't go away winter you are beautiful.

I'm shoveling like a mole around the house all winter,
the shovel is already worn out from use,
dry snow in Pržanj has already piled up,
and it doesn't look like it will ever stop falling,
maybe in summer when spring is already saying goodbye.

winter winter white,
sat on top of the mountain,
covered everything with snow,
broke the shovels.
it falls falls falls,
everything hard from cold,
doesn't think of leaving yet,
let the shovelers rest a bit.
winter shows its sharp teeth
hills fields and mountains
everything white, everything
nothing greens at all.
but still the time comes
when winter's end rings out
and from the white fluff
slop for the pigs is made.
and all this white world must warm up
so there's no more snow
the whiteness will go to hell, away.

We've caught a bit from Otiv, but here we're just greens, amateurs in the poetic sense.

Viharnik, you're not greens at all, you have a lot of humor in you and sparkling ideas. Maybe you don't even know yet what all is hidden in your little souls.
