Nice, I'm glad I can see these wonderful flowers, although I don't post flowers anymore myself. I already mix up all those names. LP!

I don't know who told you that, but on Sunday is Alpine Edelweiss Day (http://www.pzs.si/koledar.php?pid=10840) with guided tour of flowering edelweiss site under Lisec. On the path to Črno prst you won't see edelweiss...

I know where alpine edelweiss sites are. The gentleman who guided us about a month ago to Črno prst told us about them. This year flowering is delayed due to long winter. But it can surprise us with forecasts, because now it's extremely hot even in high mountains and mid-mountains and mountain flowers can bloom as usual.

Iprim, why don't you post flowers anyway, even without names? Brane, you and Vito are "competing" in flower beauty and number of photos. I'm grateful. Vito, we're learning together. Brane, at first glance I'd say: "Both saxifrages are the same, only the second was more towards the sun and thirstier among rocks...But if I look closer, I say the first is evergreen, the second is KSA endemic Hohenwart's saxifrage (Saxifraga hohenwartii). Too much imagination? Please judge you or someone else.

Hi to all experts . Need a little help. These three ladies I photographed under Mangart and can't find them among the many pics on this forum. Would need the Slovenian name and the Latin name would be welcome too. Thanks

A few years ago I saw a whole meadow under Kofce. Klek - is that the mountain in the Karavanks or Planina Klek? Thanks and lp

Brane, one question: Doesn't Wulfenov netresk bloom yellow and is there just the common netresk in the picture? Lp

Brane, the edelweiss on picture 21 is probably South Alpine edelweiss.

Doesn't that unknown yellow flower remind one of the pink scorzonera? From the rosette leaves, flowers and "grassy" leaves? It's actually Austrian scorzonera (Scorzonera austriaca).

Apolonija your bouquet is a double unknown to me. The first ones are Pannonian keeled garlic, which isn't hard to guess.

Vito, I know. We often encounter this plant, so I posted it on purpose so they'd know what it is. I'll write the name if no one recognizes it. It belongs to ferns. I'd really like to meet the rare fern with beautiful name - rustyback fern in nature.
