Brane, how many saw-worts already grow in Slovenia? two-colored, small...? Best

Three years ago I first found the dwarf saw-wort near the bivouac below Grintavec and I really find it there every year - also this year I went there recently basically because of it and the starry rock cress. This saw-wort I found two weeks ago also above Celovška hut, but it hasn't flowered yet. Already three years ago I paid special attention to saw-worts and found out that they belong to the Inulinae. Three grow here: alpine - S. alpina, dwarf - S. pygmaea, two-colored - S. discolor. I haven't seen the other two yet. Literature says all three are rare. The dwarf flowers from July, August; the other two a month later. The tallest is the two-colored - up to 30 cm, the other two up to 20 cm.

Brane, thanks. Yesterday on Planina Klek I found a lot of saw-wort leaves, only two plants were flowering. I think it's alpine. The two-colored is actually named after the leaves, which are dark on top, light below.

In the garden I had a nice saw-wort, S.stella, which disappeared after three years. It's from Tibet. The genus otherwise comprises around 300 species.

For the alpine it says the following - in the capitate compound inflorescence there are 5-20 flower heads. Heads 1 cm wide. Leaves lanceolate and entire, below densely hairy, but not white-hairy. From your pictures I see that it will be the right one.

For the Tibetan I've heard too, but it doesn't last long here.

The picture is bad, but it really looks like some star - S.stella.

Thanks for the help.

Yesterday on an all-day-long and strenuous tour to Mangart from Tamar. At the hut in Tamar it says 8 hrs. From the vegetation you can see that this heat is mercilessly drying the mountain flowers. To Jalovška škrbina there's basically nothing. On the path to Veliki Kot and Mali Kot the first bellflowers, gentians, aconites already appear in the grasses. The rock arnicas have all already finished flowering. At the bivouac on Kotovo sedlo I then find the sviščevec. Under Mangart I then finally find two characteristic flowers for Mangart.
Zois bellflowers, I can hardly find them anymore - they grew right at the bivouac on Kotovo sedlo.1
Right at the threshold by the bivouac grew this sviščevec.2
I only find planike on the path from the junction at Jalovec downwards towards Kotova špica.3
Various smiljke also appear.4
In front of Kotova špica there are many very low intensely blue orlice.5
Among the grasses all sorts of flowers are now growing. Among them the alpine nebina stands out strongly with its blue color.6
There is plenty of vretenčasti ušivec.7
There is a lot of really tiny svišč. Its little belly is narrow and long. The flower, however, is extremely small.8
I still find relict (black) murke.9
There are many various yellow flowers. High above the low grasses this yellow one bulges.10
It had such leaves. I think it is the long-haired škržolica. It should be recognized by the leaves and the flower.11
There is a lot of shiny grintavec.12
Likewise golden dimk.13
The wild klinček had somewhat strange flowers, so I was in a dilemma whether it really is it. I found out that it is the common klinček - also called kartavžar - Dianthus carthusianorum - klinčnice.14
Here too I find dwarf kosmatulja.15
Julijski mak.16
Mountain spominščica. There was no Triglav neboglasnica.17
This flower was similar to obirska sivica. I know that obirska sivica in the Karavanke has already bloomed out. I think it is divjakovski grint.18
You don't actually encounter kamnokreč's crust, mostly they have already bloomed out. I saw hidden crusty kamnokreče, evergreen, bluish green. This one was right on the top of Mangart. Probably it is the kranjski one.19
Below the summit of Mangart I finally spot the growing areas of the flower so characteristic for it.20
But of course it has already bloomed out. Creeping flowering sretene I haven't seen yet. But even bloomed out it is extremely interesting.21
There was also this flower beside it.22
This little flower is already saying goodbye - kostanjevorjava detelja.23
Towards the top of Mangart there were stands of this rockcress - whether it is the stemless one I don't know. It is an extremely low rockcress - 1-5 cm, greenish-yellow sepals are very similar in color to the narrow petals.24
Among the grasses grows an extremely tall common globeflower - not alpine, because it has different leaves.25

I also saw tons of it last time when I went from Soča village to Bavški Grintavec right at the start of the path. It's mountain lungwort. Haven't seen it anywhere else yet.

At your little flowers, my troubles have visibly diminished.
Vito, are these old shots or did you stumble on such a big bunch of little flowers not yet thirsty?
Brane, I admire your fitness. To me now the creeping happy ones are almost more likable than the blooming ones.
The unknown on 22 and 23 is the flower I asked you if you'd already photographed. Leaves like clover? Yes, chestnut-colored clover.
I'll examine everything more closely tonight.

Regards

Vito is right. Rockjasmine is much lower than mountain forget-me-not, forms cushions. Lots of leafy rosettes without flowers, flowers have bracts. This is surely forget-me-not. Lp

Good morning, guys!
16 Achillea clavennae alpine yarrow, synonyms are alpine milfoil and white milfoil. So it doesn't matter what is written. The plant anyway belongs among the milfoils.
41 Silene alpina is alpine catchfly or, synonym, alpine campion

The saxifrage also seems similar to me to the stemless /not leafless?/.nasmeh
