Daffodils are there, if not on Golica, then on Čebulovica.
Narcissi are already...1
...and there are plenty of them2
...also such with two flowers3
...and not just one4
...even with three flowers5
...further proof for any doubters6

They are beautiful, but most of all it counts that they are always within reach.

Today along the path of memories to Davovec below Krvavec.
I find large-flowered starflowers right away1
Flower of the large-flowered starflower. The forest one has narrower corolla (petal) leaves and larger, wider leaves.2
Along the path also hairy golden flower.3
Common wintergreen.4
Common rampion.5
Among normally colored forest anemones I spot white albino ones6
Lots of common hemp-nettle.7
And also heath woodrush.8
By the springlet I find marsh marigold.9
Creeping Jenny.10
Oxlip.11
Spring vetchling.12
Surprise - common toothwort.13
Probably mossy sandwort. I'll go check it again because it's photographed from afar. It grows above the road on the path to Štefano gora. One has to climb over the wooden safety fences - they protect the slope.14
Prostrate speedwell.15
Wild pansy.16
Hepatica.17
Common stitchwort. We usually mistake it for cinquefoil but it is not. Last year I found an albino on Kališče but it has already faded.18
Hairy bittercress.19
Violet - not fragrant. Determining violets is a bit harder. I don't always succeed best.20
On the pasture this low flower - the photo didn't turn out well. After checking, I determine it is common crosswort - Cruciata laevipes - bedstraw - Rubiaceae.21

This year's, they'll fade now soon. Is this the Kranj or Idrija one?

Nothing suggests that your gentian is a descendant of the Austrian gentian. No yellowish tones anywhere, farina on the leaves....it has all the characteristics of the Carniolan one. In my opinion, the Idrian-Carniolan and Austrian didn't cross...

Brane, what about Cruciata glabra - smooth bedstraw, could it be on the last picture?

Hard to tell from the picture which species of gentian it is. I'm rooting for Carniolan Janez velik nasmehvelik nasmeh

Otiv, it's true, it's hard to tell from the picture, but there are still more chances that it's Carniolan.

Seems he's not completely alone, this upper Carniolan gentian, he had at least one visitor who photographed him. And the photographer wasn't alone either. mežikanje

Apolonija, today I'm waiting for Easter breakfast with the whole family and reviewing my 21st picture. Not smooth bedstraw. I know it and it's a widespread plant-also around my home. I'll go check today, because I know where it grows. Bedstraw has flowers arranged along the stem in circles and between these circles there's a gap-well visible. We call this flower arrangement whorled. Otherwise, on my daily walks around home I check all slopes, meadows, nearby forest, clearings, forest edges, pathsides, banks of both streams and also yesterday late afternoon I found the first real false hellebore-on that slope where I always find it it's almost done blooming. Found also wild pansy-small flower, common coltsfoot, hawk's-beard-there are several species and I can't distinguish (resin, hairy, and some other) and another blooming shrub-not Cornus. Pussytoes I found a couple days ago and quite nice with its yellowish small flowers.

To continue-smooth bedstraw has different-narrower pointed leaves. This flower has egg-shaped leaf wrong. I've learned to distinguish leaves or leaf blades (My guess has more round and fused four-lobed corollas-proper term. Lobe is pointed. It grew on pasture at about 1000m on Davovec.

Borrowed Flora Alpina handbooks again. Inquired in bookstores-sold out-price around 500 euros-all three. I'll look here.

Happy holidays to all.
Velkavrh, the Flora Alpina handbook (three books, one being a multilingual index) can be bought abroad much cheaper. 2004 edition in German (don't know if latest), with shipping to Slovenia, currently about 120.00 eur on German Amazon, but price changes (rather up than down). Still not cheap, but compared to our 500.00 eur...

21 Velkavrh's photo is a gentian, but not the noriška one, which is lower, cushion-like alpine plant and has short lanceolate leaves with a short awned tip.

I agree too, it's a gentian, just which one. Probably can't really tell from the picture.

Brane, is that flowering shrub in the wild? Maybe downy honeysuckle? Lonicera caprifolium/honeysuckle is a climber

Apolonija, I really found downy honeysuckle and kovačnik. Both are already blooming.

anka, I checked all low gentians and borderline ones too, but can't find it anywhere. If I have time I'll go photograph it properly again, because the photo was bad. Found only one site on the pasture behind Davovec and I know exactly where. Davovec is above Štefano gora.
