Not really. Most slopes of Begunjščica and Begunjska vrtača have already slid (practically to the ground), elsewhere conditions are good and relatively stable with good 10cm of new snow on the old base which is transformed/hard, and the ascent path is ratracked. I only climbed to Triangel where on the path there are no (at least not in current conditions) avalanche-critical slopes.

Lunatixz, I doubt Begunjščica has slid, you never know when it surprises you, so be careful during thaws.

Once again. Conditions today after 3:30 pm (of course talking about the path to Zelenica) were in my opinion completely safe - true, less safe than for someone at home on the couch or at the computer.

Are you, I won't say what???, don't you know I lived under Begunjščica avalanches for 30 years, so don't underestimate people who advise for the good of hikers and alpinists.

Great skiing in Suhem rusju today!
Yesterday snow showers sprinkled above 1100m a couple of cm of new snow, which creaked under crampons. Some rockfalls have already come down, the rest in steep still waits for real spring. On the saddle northerly wind blew, not letting clouds from south intrude. Lots of Austrians and ours went up, afternoon already whole hordes. Skiing up top excellent, soft, flowing, below Rusje shoulder at 1700m already thaw. At Zelenica at 13:30 thermometer showed 7.5C, snow sliding from roof. Also other part was good to ski despite thaw, only last couple 100m started stopping evenly. Great, well used day, lp

I think the graničarska is currently not the best for walking due to avalanches that stopped on the mentioned path, visible on pic 5. Otherwise slopes above the avalanche are mostly bare, some snow still from pic 7 onwards.
