Description:
Brennkogelscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2625 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 1.0 km southeast of peak Brennkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Litzlhofalm, located 3km northeast. A little further is Information Bricciuskapelle. 7 km west-southwest of the saddle there is lake Sandersee. 1.6 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Brennkogelkees, 6 km west from the saddle there is also glacier Freiwandkees. The saddle is located west-northwest of the valley Großfleißtal.
