Description:
Rossscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2599 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 1.7 km north of peak Schareck. The nearest mountain hut is Litzlhofalm, located 3km north-northwest. A little further is Karhütte. 4 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Brennkogelkees, 5 km east from the saddle there is also glacier Krumlkees. The saddle is located above the valley Großfleißtal.
