Untere Glocknerscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3596 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.2 km west-northwest of peak Teufelshorn. The nearest mountain hut is Erzherzog-Johann-Hütte, located 1.2km southeast. A little closer is bivouac Glocknerbiwak, which is located 0.8km to the north-northeast. 5 km east-southeast of the saddle there is lake Sandersee. 0.9 km southwest from the saddle there is glacier Teischnitzkees, 1.3 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Glocknerkees. The saddle is located above the valley Pillwaxrinne.
