Hofmannspitze is 3711 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 9 km north-northeast from the center of Glor-Berg and 9 km north-northeast from the center of Großdorf and 0.9 km northwest of peak Großglockner. The nearest mountain hut is Erzherzog-Johann-Hütte, located 1.7km southeast. A little closer is bivouac Glocknerbiwak, which is located 0.8km to the east-northeast. 5 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 1.1 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Teischnitzkees, 1.5 km east from the summit there is also glacier Glocknerkees. The peak is located north of the valley Ködnitztal.
