Description:
Birkköpfe is 2581 meter high peak and is part of the Karwendel Mountains. The peak is located 10 km west from the center of Eng and 12 km east of Scharnitz and 0.8 km south of peak Westliche Ödkarspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Karwendelhaus, located 3km north. A bit closer is bivouac Birkkarhüttl, which is located 1.2km to the northeast. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Karwendeltal. The peak is located above the ridge Hinterautal-Vomper-Kette.
