Description:
Schlauchkarsattel is a saddle at an altitude of 2623 meters in the Karwendel Mountains. The saddle is located 10 km west from the center of Eng and 13 km east of Scharnitz. The nearest mountain hut is Karwendelhaus, located 2km north-northwest. Closer is bivouac Birkkarhüttl, located to the east in the immediate vicinity of the peak. The monument Franz Kellerer is also located near the saddle. The saddle is located above the valley Karwendeltal. The saddle is located on the ridge Hinterautal-Vomper-Kette.
