Grieskogel is 2909 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 3 km east of peak Fotzenkarstange. The nearest mountain hut is Leiterbergalm, located 3km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Rheinland-Pfalz-Biwak. 4 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Innerer Pirchlkarferner, 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Geigenkarleferner.
