The nearest mountain hut is Verpeilhütte, located 1.6km south-southwest. And Gsallalm is also close by. 1.1 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Gsallferner, 1.7 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Gallruttferner. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Kaunertal.
